JCDecaux
Managing an in-house design team
The Role
JCDecaux is the world’s leading out-of-home advertising company, with three distinct channels: street furniture, transport advertising and billboard advertising. I was employed as the Design Manager of the International marketing department, a hands-on role overseeing the output of the design team’s work covering everything from out-of-home advertising concepts, presentations and digital showreels through to online content and all supporting marketing materials.
Presentations
A diverse selection of presentations were needed to engage and inspire existing and potential clients, inform investors, support our sales teams and aid internal communications.

Concepts
After internal ideation sessions, my team were tasked with creating and visualising advertising concepts to be pitched to potential and existing clients. The following are a few examples that utilised JCDecaux’s out-of-home technology in various ways and pushed the boundaries of how clients can communicate with customers in new and memorable ways.
Chanel product launch - Airport. Unmissable interactive and directional brand experience.
Nike global challenge - Outdoor. Worldwide contest to crown the most active city through motion capture.
NARS interactive adviser - Mall. Shoppers receive live support for NARS product queries.
Budweiser social giveaway - Transport. Live offers to be redeemed at nearby Budweiser stockists.
